2026 General Election VOLUNTEER "100% Registered to 100% Voting!"

Belle Haven Empowered is continuing its voter registration, education, and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) program. Our goal is to register 100% of eligible voters and 100% voting!

It is an empowering experience to support the nationwide effort to encourage voter registration and getting out the voter. Your support is very important to our past success of increasing voting in the Belle Haven neighborhood! Here is our program for this election.

STEP 1: is to knock on the doors of every address that does not have any registered voters and supporting registration for all eligible voters. We are listening to what people have to say about why they don't vote. And we are having conversations about why voting is important. Tentative dates for targeted unregistered addresses 9/9 through 10/7. 

STEP 2: is to door-knock at all homes and apartments and leave information about who can vote, how to register to vote, what’s on the ballot, how to be a Smart Voter, where to vote and more. We are increasing registered voters and encouraging every registered voter to vote. We need help of Volunteers to help us reach our residents. Tentative dates for canvassing 10/10 through 10/10/31. 

We provide a script and name tags. tote bag, energy bars, and electrolytes. Please wear comfortable shoes, wear a hat and sunscreen. Bring a jacket for evening volunteering 

Each team will include a staff member and consist of at least two people. The teams will be partnered with at least one English and one Spanish speaker. Most materials are translated.

If you would like to volunteer for any part of our voter registration, outreach, education, tabling, and/or canvassing, please read this document: Belle Haven Empowered (BHE) Volunteer Waiver. We will review and ask you to sign this waiver on your first day of volunteering.

Please indicate in section 5 in this sign-up form when you are available to support our door-knocking to register voters and canvassing to encourage people to vote.
