Our Commitment to Accessibility

Belle Haven Empowered is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We believe that providing an inclusive and accessible experience is integral to our mission. 

Measures to Support Accessibility

To help us achieve our goals, Belle Haven Empowered takes the following measures: 

• Conformance Status: We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the main international standards organization for the World Wide Web.

• Accessibility Integration: We integrate accessibility into our internal policies and practices. Our development and content creation processes are built with accessibility in mind.

• Staff Training: We provide continual accessibility training for our staff to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to create accessible digital content.

• Ongoing Audits: We regularly perform accessibility audits of our website and other digital resources to identify and fix potential issues.

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of Belle Haven Empowered’s website, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be the result of an unknown limitation or the inability to find the most appropriate technological solution.
