Hello Team Chat!
Thank-you to the folks that participated in our Kitchen Table Chat on September 10, 2026. Here is the link to the presentation. At your request and enthusiasm, Ballot Party at the Chat will continue on September 29, 2026.
We will try to answer some of the questions in the exit survey from the last Chat. We will provide more online resources and a few more handouts.
We will continue researching and using plain language to make local, county, and state measures easy to understand. Again, each table will form a small group, working together with handouts and online resources. Here is the framework we’ll use to organize our discussions:
What is the problem this measure or proposition is trying to solve?
What changes if this passes?
What stays the same if this fails?
Who supports it? Who opposes it?
Follow the Money: Who is funding each side?
