We are grateful for all who attended our Kitchen Table Chat on Wednesday July 23, 2025. Thank-you for completing the questionnaires. We will have the results from the Pool and Anti-displacement questionnaires next week in the Invite email with details for Chat #8.

Our August Kitchen Table Chat is on Thursday August 28th at the Belle Haven Community Campus from 5:30 to 6:45 pm..

Announcement:

Senior (ages 62 and older) Affordable rental units at Sequoia Belle Haven. Applications are due Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. One-bedroom units at the 30%, 45% and 50% Area Median Income Levels. Once current vacancies are filled, remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist for future vacancies. More information about the property and income eligibility requirements is available here. Saturday 8/16: 9:00am. Community Walk with Fit to the Core at Kelly Park. All ages and paces are welcome — bring a friend, your family, or even a neighbor who could use a little fresh air and community connection. More Information

Development Project:

335-355 Pierce Rd. Request for a use permit and architectural control permit and below market rate (BMR) housing agreement to construct two new three-story residential buildings with a total of eight below market rate townhomes on a vacant standard lot. All of the units would be for sale and available to households making a maximum of 80% area median income. Information:

• All of the streets throughout the City are maintained with the same level of frequency. The street sweeping day is generally the next business day after trash collection. Street sweeping schedule

• In Menlo Park, anyone going door-to-door to sell goods or services must have a city permit and business license. Know before you open: solicitation in Menlo Park

• Did you know that Recology offers two free scheduled pickups of large and bulky items from Feb. 1–Dec. 31? Free on-call bulky item collection service

• The CERT program provides community members with hands-on training in basic disaster preparedness, fire extinguisher usage, disaster medical care, first aid training, search and rescue techniques, as well as neighborhood team building.
